Finding a veterinarian that is well educated in goats can be a real challenge. When you find that special vet they can make a big difference in your breeding program! So many livestock vets will see goats but really don't seem to know much about them. They often treat them like cattle.
Personally, I drive past several near by clinics to take my goats to a vet that is almost an hour away!
