A few topics I feel I should touch on :


RABBITS GROW VERY FAST!
Dwarf Rabbits are mature adults by 6-8 Months Old.  When choosing a cage size plan for a full grown rabbit!
THEY ARE ADULT SIZE BY 6 - 8 MONTHS OLD!!!

ALL BUNNIES ARE RAISED AS PETS!
While many of our rabbits are purebred and many from parents with pedigrees we do not sell pedigreed rabbits for breeding.  Our goal has always been healthy, well socialized family PETS.

ALL MY BABY BUNNIES ARE HANDLED FROM BIRTH! 
My bunnies are handled frequently from birth.  However, when you get your new bunny home it will be scared.   It must get accustomed to the new sights & sounds.  Please leave your bunny alone in it's cage for the 1st few days.  This gives it time to settle in!

DWARF RABBITS ARE NOT TINY POCKET PETS LIKE HAMSTERS.
Dwarf Rabbits typically range from 2 to 5lbs as Adults. 
Estimated Weights of babies are given considering adult weights of their parents.  These weights are estimates. Just like people, every rabbit is an individual.
OUR BABIES MIGHT BE TINY AT 1 POUND (OR LESS) AT 6 WEEKS OLD BUT JUST LIKE ANY BABY ANIMAL, THEY GROW UP!

Your new bunny is a living animal that will require daily care.  Playtime outside the cage is very important.  Your bunny must be supervised when out of the cage since they like chew & dig!

I do not bring visitors into my bunny barn.  This is for the safely of my rabbits.  Viruses and bacteria can be carried on your shoes and clothes from pet stores, feed stores and other farms.  Also, my rabbits know our family.  When strangers come into the barn it can freak them out. 

I do not bring ALL my baby rabbits out for you to see before they are weaned.  This is why I spend HOURS taking pictures of the babies.  Momma rabbits DO NOT appreciate having strangers playing with and mixing babies around. If you are torn between a few I will bring a FEW out to see. 
If you want to be able to sort through the babies and hand pick please waiting until they are WEANED.  I will not risk having momma bunnies rejecting or attacking babies because they smell strange to them.

Personality of baby rabbits is VERY hard to judge.  They are pray animal and babies are nervous by nature.  Individual personalities start to show as they mature.

SIZE RANGE OF RABBITS:

Dwarf Rabbits:
Typically 2 - 5lbs with some individual's reaching an extreme 6lbs.
(Ex: Mini Rex, Mini Satin, Holland Lops, Lionhead, Dutch)

Standard Rabbits:
  Many Standard Rabbits typically which reach 8 - 12 lbs
(Ex: Californian, New Zealand & Champagne D'Argent)

Giant Breeds:
12 - 18 lbs with some reaching over 20lbs!
(Ex: English Lops & Flemish Giants)

**Dwarf Mixes are a Dwarf Rabbit of mixed ancestor.  I've been breeding breeding my mixes for many generations based on health, temperament and size.  I'm often asked what breed they are mixed with.  Many have been mixed so many generations they are just adorable, sweet and healthy "mutts". They should stay 2.5 - 4 lbs like all the other Dwarf breeds I have.  They may have a bit of Neitherland Dwarf, Dutch, Mini Rex, Satin or other DWARF breeds.  They do not fall into a specific breed so you can not show them but they make wonderful & cute pets! 

2020 UPDATE:
At this time, we are taking a BREAK from raising rabbits.  I may have some available in 2021 but for the rest of 2020 I will not have any rabbits available. 
I'm sorry, I love to have the babies and meet all the new customers.  However, I have decided to follow other hobbies for a little while.
