I am so excited to be offering you guys these WONDERFUL puppies! If you know me - they are my heart dogs! I have been a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel owner for over 12 years. I feel like I have seen it all with this breed. I have always wanted to breed them but as a breeder of other animals I know the risk of breeding. My Cavaliers have always been my babies first. 3 Years ago I came in contact with a wonderful show breeder who I got my first show Cavalier from. I can't tell you how IMPRESSED I was with this breeder. The health and vigor of her dogs was not like anything I had ever seen in Cavaliers.
As a breeder of show goats I understand fully that when breeding - not every baby born is a show prospect. It is the nature of the show world. However, these pet quality animals still need a home. It doesn't make them any less just because they are not grand champion material. It can be something so silly as they have a little too much white in the wrong spot. Or there nose could be a hair longer or shorter. Something a pet owner would never even consider. When you are a show breeder and you have a litter of animals (goats , dogs, cats, you name it) you are looking for that ONE baby that really pops. That baby that has the show spirit. Some babies are a little to shy or too spunky ... or .. or ... or. If you have 4 babies you are looking for that ONE. Maybe if you have 6 babies you are looking for that ONE or TWO that is the next show ring prospect. Sometimes you put together your two grand champions and the litter just doesn't live up to your exceptions for show prospects.
SO what happens to the rest of the puppies? They are looking for pet homes. Why only pet homes? Because breeding animals is a serious commitment. Breeding Cavaliers is even more of a serious commitment because the breed has so many health issues. Heart Testing, Eye testing, Hip and patella testing and sometimes even MRI scanning. It is a major financial investment to do it RIGHT. Anyone can put 2 animals together and make babies but being a true ambassador of improving the breed is so much more. I am a FIRM believer that anyone breeding Cavaliers should be a true ambassador of the breed and I will not settle for anything less.
These puppies DO come with a clause that they MUST be spayed or neutered before a year old. We are very strict about this and it is in our sales contract. We will settle for nothing less.
Health Testing - I know this is a hot topic and I am going to be very transparent with you. If you are not okay with it that is fine - We are just not the seller for you. The breeder I am working closely with is a professional show breeder who has spend MANY years working with health tested lines. Speaking from experience her dogs have been amazing. However, in our arrangement she prefers to remain anonymous. I fully understand. For this reason I do not have papers to show you on each pup. If that is a deal breaker - as a Cavalier owner I understand fully. Once the puppies are in my care they will all be seen by my personal vet and given a puppy wellness exam. They will be current on shots and prevention.
At the breeders house these puppies are born inside. She is there for every single birth. They are treated like royalty and spoiled beyond belief. Living as part of her family in her living room/bedroom.
When the puppies come to me they are also living as family. In our bedroom and living room. Sleeping on beds and couches. My job is to work with each puppy crate training, potty training, socializing and treating them like royalty here. These are my heart dogs and treated like my babies. I will evaluate each puppy further and start the processes of finding them the perfect home. If you are interested in one of our puppies there will be a full adoption application available for you to fill out. We screen each home carefully.
If you are approved for the adoption process we will then send you our adoption contract to review. We take our puppy adoptions VERY seriously.
Puppies will go home with a goodie bag, there records and 30 days of free insurance. Puppies MUST be seen by your veterinarian within 3 business days. We guarantee our puppies are sent home with you in great health and free from any known health issues at the time of sale. If you are looking for more then this - we are not the seller for you. We believe firmly in honesty and transparency. As a buyer you have to decide what is most important for you.
If at any time you decide the puppy is not for you we ask that you contact us first. We do not want to see our dogs sent out to shelters or rescues. They deserve so much better then that.
Questions are always welcome!
Honesty, Quality and Transparency are incredibly important to us.
